而李佑萱、李佑葶雙胞胎姊妹，分別考上台大中文系、財務金融系，姊姊李佑萱學測成績已經可以上台大，但妹妹李佑葶學測考不好，兩人決定再拚指考；李佑葶說，因為沒有退路，所以只能往前看，沒想到指考成績比姊姊好。

皮福黝黑的王翊軒，常被誤認是原住民，但她想讀法律系桃園市蘆竹區媽媽手冊贈品，確實和國小時的一位原住民同學有關，她說，國中時得知該同學誤入歧途被逮，讓她想到想讀法律系，以後到偏鄉為原住民等弱勢服務。但她又有以後開民宿的志向，原因為何？她說，就是希望好朋友在畢業後不失聯，有了民宿當據點，也可以利用法律專業幫助各地而來的人。

指考成績放榜，台中一中、台中女中都有考生抱持著「再不拚，沒有機會！」心情，發憤讀書，考上理想學校。中一中學生許兆瑜從學測第一天就抱持再考指考準備，拚上台大醫學系；單親家庭長大的劉家愷，學測失利發憤拚指考，如願考上台北大學法律系。中女的陳丘舫放棄到美國念書，考上台大國際企業系；王翊軒，如願考上台大法律系，立志幫助弱勢族群。雙胞胎姊妹李佑萱、李佑葶，又一起考上台大當同學。
